What is special about our snow peas?
Our snow peas are extremely productive and you can harvest them for several weeks.
They are tastiest when harvested young, but if you accidentally leave the pods hanging too long, you can always shell the peas: they are also delicious.
Sow and grow snow peas
Sow snow peas early in the spring. They are easy to grow, yield a lot and are not prone to diseases. The cultivation is easy, but be sure to protect the germinated seeds and small seedlings from birds: they love them - especially in early spring.
Harvest the pods before the peas thicken, then they are tastiest. Moreover, they produce flowers for longer.
You can sow again in August. This cultivation is not always successful, but it is certainly worth a try.
